The project emerged from the shored passions and complementary views about considerations and choices of it's two founders.
The idea is a multidisciplinary concept, mainly based on a satirical journey in the world of sound, an experimental, often melancholy and expressionistic Janus-figure, inspired by strangeness of mankind and contemporary life.
Between scenography, noise sessions and poetry, the band leads you through different landscapes, which are disfigured, alienated in their idiosyncratic way, preferably toward a discrete but evident optimism.
idiosyncrasia had live performances, realised in Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic for an audience of 30 to 400 people. Each of these shows was a strong and enriching experience.
The unsetting character and the multiplicity of the influences of this group are opposed to the cultural and mercantile formatting of our society, and that's the message, the assertion of a particular and unconventional process.
The band conceives each project as a new experience, from a noise performance in an old filtering tank (the project named conformity is sanity is available) to poetry reading with other artists.

idiosyncrasia proposes a reflection about the ambient conformism of the mass media, simply by illustrating and asserting itself in an idiosyncratic and authentic way / mood of creation, causing confrontation with usual and commercial agreements.

It's a kind of satirical / spiritual ceremony with dark echoes, always trying to tear down the walls between artistic branches and to make them interact, each performance is a new experience.
