Y.E.R.M.O. was founded in 2003 by Yannick Franck and joined in 2005 by Xavier Dubois (from mysterious band Dolph Lundgren ). They principally dedicate their work to abstract acoustic textures and drones.
Favouring multiplicity of sources and processes, Y.E.R.M.O. explore the diverse dimensions, creating expressive / meditative tracks.
These soundscapes, expanding monochrome tones and unveiling harmonics in a minimal, evanescent, obscure whole, are sometimes running along acoustic events, poetry and noisy moments displaying toughest aspects.
Avoiding narrative contingencies and conventions, Y.E.R.M.O. demarcate these resolutely unfigurating acoustic spaces. Attempting to transfigure life components to make them evolve in a profound celebration of invisible (waves, spirituality...) faced with unescapable materialism of contemporary life...
